Michael William “Buddy” Faulkner is a dedicated attorney with a diverse professional background and a commitment to achieving successful outcomes for his clients. Buddy and his wife, Alexis enjoy working out, spending quality time with their families, and spending time on the water.

Before attending law school, Buddy gained a wide range of life experiences that shaped his approach to the legal profession. He managed several businesses and served in law enforcement, where he held roles as a detective, public information officer, medic and breacher for the SWAT team, and other critical positions. These experiences provided him with exceptional problem-solving skills and a unique perspective that he brings to his legal practice.

Buddy graduated cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Tampa, Florida, in May 2021, where he excelled both academically and in extracurricular activities. His achievements include:

• Winning the intra-school Mock Trial Evidence Competition.
• Being a semi-finalist in the Melissa Mitchell Moot Court Competition and competing in a National Mock Trial Competition.
• Serving as President of the Mock Trial Board, a Senator for the Student Bar Association, and a Board Member for the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Student Division of the Florida Bar.
• Earning Dean’s List and Honor Roll distinctions.
• Serving as a Dean’s Fellow in the Academic Resource Center and as a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society.
• Served on the law school’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

During his final year of law school, Buddy worked as a Law Clerk for Jones, Haber & Rollings, gaining valuable hands-on experience. He was recognized with the prestigious Leadership Achievement Award and was selected as the Valedictorian Speaker for his graduating class.

Buddy was admitted to the Florida Bar in September 2021 and joined Jones, Haber & Rollings as an attorney. The day after being sworn in, he argued and won his first oral argument, demonstrating his readiness to advocate effectively for his clients.

Since beginning his legal career, Buddy has expanded his contributions to the community by teaching classes for new realtors in the area, sharing his knowledge and helping others succeed in their professions. Known for his practical approach, he strives to provide clients with realistic expectations and clear guidance, ensuring they are informed and prepared throughout the legal process.
